The day has finally arrived. All of the hope and anticipation of a new, Democratic president of the United States is finally upon us and the energy and emotion of millions of Americans couldn’t be greater. I’m watching all of the inauguration events live on MSNBC and I will be reporting any and all of the days events as they happen.
It took over 2 years of campaigning for Barack Obama to get his message of Change out to the people of America. The first time I heard him speak I knew he had the charisma and energy that we so desperately needed. In the 25 years of my life on this planet I have never seen someone that was more qualified to be the president of the United States of America. Not political experience, or knowledge of how Washington works but true leadership capabilities and the proven track record of bringing people together to produce significant changes to the way our broken system works. That is why I think Barack Obama is going to make a great leader and I’m very pleased he is finally in office.
